• 'It's possible Chelsea's arrival at negotiating table delays things'
• Midfielder signs off for Lille with a hat-trick

The Lille winger Eden Hazard admitted that Chelsea's Champions League triumph has made him "hesitate" over which club to join next season. The Belgian was expected to announce his destination on Sunday night but after much build-up – and a first-half hat-trick for Lille in his last match for the club – he said he had yet to decide.

"As long as I've not put pen to paper, I won't say where I'm going," the Belgium international told Canal+. "Chelsea makes you hesitate. They've won the Champions League and they'll be in it next season.

"For now nothing's been decided but it will be soon. Now I want to join up with the national team and then go on holiday. It'll do me a lot of good.

"It is possible that Chelsea's arrival at the negotiation table will delay things, as nothing is done," he told Canal+ after Lille's 4-1 victory against Nancy on Sunday.

"My agent has met with Manchester and with Chelsea. They both give good offers and are both great clubs. I don't know. It's not been finalised yet."

Hazard took 10 minutes to open the scoring against mid-table Nancy, only for the visitors to equalise almost immediately through a Reynald Lemaître header.

Lille regained the lead in the 24th minute through Tulio De Melo and the home side extended their lead three minutes later, Hazard nipping in behind the Nancy defence and firing his 19th goal of the season. He completed his hat-trick in the 35th minute. Read More
