Eden Hazard has suggested that he could join Manchester City or Chelsea this summer after declaring he will be "definitely" wearing blue next season.
The 21-year-old Lille and Belgium midfielder, who has also been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, has already stated his desire to move to the Premier League. "I want to play in England [next season]. That's what I've decided," Hazard told French television after Lille's win over Paris Saint-Germain last month.
Patrick Vieira, City's football development executive, and Martin Ferguson, the brother of Sir Alex Ferguson and a United scout, both travelled to watch him during that match. Hazard also attended the Manchester derby last week.
When asked by Canal+ whether he prefers red or blue – Lille's home kit is red – Hazard replied that he likes both colours but added: "It's the blue that I'll be wearing next season. Definitely the blue." Read More
