In other very important news, as predicted in yesterday's super soaraway edition of our tea-timely newsletter The Fiver, the FA have moved to avert a potential flashpoint before Sunday's lunchtime kick-off between QPR and Chelsea by "suspending" the pointless but ritualistic pre-match handshake between the two teams.
With Chelsea skipper John Terry set to appear in the dock in July to defend charges of using racist language against QPR centre-half Anton Ferdinand, any handshake (or snub) between the two men could have prejudiced the trial anyway, so this was the obvious course of action for the FA to take.
