• Sheffield United striker was convicted of rape last week
• League One champions Charlton dominate team
The Wales and Sheffield United striker Ched Evans, who was last week convicted of raping a 19-year-old girl, has been named in the League One team of the year.
The team was dominated by League One champions Charlton who had four representatives in Ben Hamer, Michael Morrison, Rhoys Wiggins and Johnnie Jackson but also included two of Evans's team-mates, Harry Maguire and Stephen Quinn.
Evans was sentenced to five years in prison at Caernarfon crown court but fellow professional footballer, Port Vale's Clayton McDonald, was cleared of the same charge.
